Доцент кафедры гастроэнтерологии Университета Miguel Hernández University (Эльче, Испания). Координатор отделения желчевыводящих путей и поджелудочной железы в Университетской больнице общего профиля Alicante’s University General Hospital. Президент Испанской ассоциации гастроэнтерологов.

Научные интересы профессора Мадария связаны с заболеваниями поджелудочной железы с акцентом на совместных исследованиях. Он разработал и возглавил как национальные, так и международные совместные исследования, направленные на изменение реальной клинической практики.

Он получил премию UEG (Объединенной европейской гастроэнтерологии) «Восходящая звезда» 2017 года и премию UEG «Посол социальных сетей» 2019 года. Занимал должности в нескольких научных учреждениях, включая пост президента Испанской ассоциации панкреатологии (AESPANC), был членом Панкреатического клуба Совета Европы и членом Правления Испанской ассоциации гастроэнтерологии (AEG).

Профессор Мадария входит в состав редакционных советов нескольких национальных и международных научных журналов, активно публикуется и в настоящее время является президентом Испанской ассоциации гастроэнтерологов (AEG).
